In this sense, diverse scientific evidence asserts that cancer diagnoses constitute a stressful experience that supposes an enormous burden of anguish and distress, psychological problems, fear, and shame, among others [20,33], to which motherhood and its relationship with fertility should be added, as well as a woman's own sexuality and role in the family/couple, which can be affected by such a diagnosis [11,23,34].
