Can low concentrations of Papain help repair articular cartilage defects?

Abstract: Abstract:In the present study, we investigate the capability of low concentrations of Papain to stimulate cartilage mesenchymal cells proliferation and transformation to chondrocytes and evaluate the healing capability of partial thickness defects in medial condyle cartilage of 30 rabbits' knee joints.
