Can nurse-led preoperative education reduce anxiety and postoperative complications of patients undergoing cardiac surgery?

Abstract: Preoperative education delivered by nurses reduced anxiety and postoperative complications of patients undergoing cardiac surgery, but it was not effective in reducing readmissions or length of stay.
