Abstract:Nuclear Quadrupole Resonance (NQR) signal detection is a promising explosives detection technology with applications to humanitarian demining. NQR works in the radiofrequency range, and one challenge to using it in such an application is coping with radiofrequency interference. We herein present an algorithm that cancels strong and complex radiofrequency interference (either stationary or nonstationary) improving the utility of NQR-based landmine detection in humanitarian demining. The algorithm has been teste… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
