Cancer patients’ experiences and preferences when receiving bad news: a qualitative study

Abstract: Purpose: Receiving a cancer diagnosis significantly impacts patients’ lives, and how the bad news is delivered influences patients’ trajectory, psychosocial adjustment and openness to psycho-oncological support.
