Mary Beth Nierengarten
Abstract:This news section offers Cancer readers timely information on events, public policy analysis, topical issues, and personalities. In this issue, data from a new study show that some US cancer survivors are suffering increased rates of functional limitations after treatment. In addition, researchers look at how the COVID‐19 pandemic destabilized usual patterns of cancer care, and an analysis shows that children who live in extreme poverty face a greater risk of acute lymphoblastic leukemia relapse.
