Subject. This article discusses the topical issues of assessing the completeness of borrower's compliance with the principles of lending using expert’s support.
Objectives. The article aims to determine the general guidelines for the economic examination of the borrower's compliance with the principles of lending, as well as specify the components of the examination to ensure its complexity, priority and completeness.
Methods. For the study, we used the methods of information retrieval, analysis and synthesis, and modeling of situations.
Results. The article defines the steps of economic examination, specifies the tasks within the framework of their implementation, as well as the appropriate information support and tools. The article also proposes a methodology for conducting an economic examination of the borrower's compliance with the principles of lending, which can serve as a basis for the formation of an objective expert judgment.
Conclusions and Relevance. The limited disclosure of the issues of conducting an economic examination of the borrower's compliance with the principles of lending in economic literature, legislative and regulatory acts causes the need to develop a methodology for its production. The presented methodology is timely and important both in the practical activities of experts and for use in the educational process in the relevant areas of training.
