Características morfo-agronômicas de cultivares crioulas de feijão comum em dois anos de cultivo

Abstract: Resumo AbstractThe objective of this work was to characterize the genetic diversity of landrace beans in two years for morphologic and agronomy characteristics. Twenty four bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) genotypes were evaluated during the growing seasons of 2006/2007 and 2007/2008, using the randomized block design with three replications in Lages -SC. The genotypes were analyzed for 12 morphological and agronomic traits. The genotypes were studied using multivariable techniques to measure genetic divergence re… Show more

“…Thus, it is possible to identify the most promising genotypes for genetic improvement and also benefit farmers, enabling the rational use of these genotypes in family farming (Coelho et al, 2010).…”

“…However, when the Tocher cluster analysis was made, using data for each environment, the genotype groups formed were different for each growth environment (Gonçalves Ceolin et al, 2007;Coelho et al, 2010). This occurs because there is a significant genotype x environment interaction for agronomic traits and, consequently, the genotypes performance differs.…”

“…Therefore, the genetic variability observed in the landraces and the genotypes developed for breeding programs requires a more detailed characterization. Genetic dissimilarity and cluster analyses have been widely used to determine the genetic variability of common bean genotypes that have been grown in a given region or country (Bonett et al, 2006;Chiorato et al, 2006;Gonçalves Ceolin et al, 2007;Elias et al, 2007;Barelli et al, 2009;Coelho et al, 2010;Freitas et al, 2011;Blair et al, 2013;Grahic et al, 2013;Gonçalves et al, 2014;Hegay et al, 2014;Sofi et al, 2014). Thus, accession duplicates are identified, and hybrid combinations are planned based on the identification of genotypes with favorable traits for selection.…”

“…Para fazer-se uma análise do poder discriminatório dos descritores, torna-se necessário analisar a sua contribuição de forma conjunta através de procedimentos multivariados (COELHO et al, 2010;CRUZ et al, 2004). Dentre os métodos mais utilizados visando determinar a contribuição de cada variável para a divergência genética entre sub amostras estudadas, estão os métodos das variáveis canônicas e o de Singh (1981), que avaliam os indivíduos em vários aspectos (CRUZ et al, 2004).…”
