Caracterização Dos Medicamentos Administrados Por Sonda De Nutrição E as Possíveis Interações Fármaconutrição Enteral

Abstract

Introdução: Sondas de nutrição estão sendo cada vez mais empregadas para a administração de medicamentos quando há impossibilidade de ingestão oral. Seu uso pode resultar em potenciais complicações como obstrução da sonda, redução da eficácia do fármaco, aumento de efeitos adversos e a incompatibilidade de fármacos com os componentes da dieta enteral. Objetivos: Categorizar os medicamentos prescritos via sonda de nutrição buscando possíveis interações entre os fármacos e a dieta enteral de pacientes hospitalizados. Métodos: Trata-se de um trabalho retrospectivo, quantitativo, exploratório com análise documental, tomando como fonte de informação as prescrições dos pacientes internados na UTI da emergência. Resultados: Durante os meses do estudo, estiveram internados 403 pacientes, sendo que 181 (44,91%) pacientes se enquadraram nos critérios de inclusão. Foram identificados 35 medicamentos prescritos para serem administrados por sonda enteral que foram classificados de acordo com o segundo nível da classificação ATC (Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical), resultando em 22 classes terapêuticas. Para a maioria dos medicamentos foram prescritas formas farmacêuticas sólidas, que correspondem a 86% (n=30), seguido de 14% (n=5) de formas farmacêuticas líquidas. A forma farmacêutica predominante foi o comprimido (n=18). Dos 35 medicamentos prescritos para serem administrados por sonda, 10 (28,57%) medicamentos apresentaram potenciais interações fármaco-nutrição enteral. Os fármacos identificados foram: atenolol, captopril, carbamazepina, haloperidol, hidroclorotiazida, hidróxido de alumínio, lactulose, levotiroxina, nimodipino, varfarina. Conclusões: Nota-se a necessidade de uma padronização na administração de medicamentos por sonda em pacientes em uso de nutrição enteral.Palavras-chave: medicamento, sonda de nutrição, interação fármaco-nutrição enteral ABSTRACT Introduction: After many years of its use in clinical practice, nutrition probes are increasingly being used for nutrient intake and drug administration when oral ingestion is impossible.
