In 2015, the School Feeding Program (PAE) in Chile implemented the program for Celiacs, which offers safe gluten-free rations to students enrolled in the PAE with a diagnosis of celiac disease. However, this measure is not sufficient to ensure adequate nutrition for these children, as the delivery of a basket of gluten-free foods does not guarantee that knowledge is present in their homes to prepare these foods or that caregivers have enough time to prepare the meals. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a guide for the celiac population, specifically targeted at caregivers and educators, to be applied both at home and in educational institutions.
