Abstract: México es uno de los países con mayor producción de aguacate en el mundo y la variedad mayormente plantada es la Hass, además que Michoacán, México figura como el principal productor de aguacate con un 80% seguido de otros estados como Jalisco, estado de México y en Veracruz existe una superficie plantada en la parte central del estado que necesita ser caracterizado.
