Abstract: Acinetobacter baumannii is an important bacterial pathogen associated with healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), especially in critically ill patients admitted to Intensive Care Units (ICU). Its ability to acquire antibiotic resistance determinants has propelled its clinical relevance.
