“…Recently, an active-site-enriched NiS/MWCNTs composites have been controllable prepared using small sized and monodispersed NiS nanoparticles in situ embedded in MWCNTs through the facile colloidal synthesize method by our group. [173] An extraordinary PCE of 10.82% has been achieved when the optimized NiS/MWCNTs composites are used as the CE catalysts for DSSCs, which is obviously higher than that of the NiS (7.45%), MWCNTs (6.81%), Pt (8.03%). Meanwhile, the influence of the different contents of NiS on the performance of NiS/MWCNTs composites was also elucidated.…”

“…In addition, it is also worth noting that when dyes are absorbed on the TiO 2 surface, the strong interactions between them might generate built‐in electric field that can tune the resulting work function to affect the charge recombination. [ 34 ]…”

“…Various types of carbon materials such as carbon black, graphene or carbon nanotubes were used as back-contact in DSCs and PSCs. [85][86][87][88][89][90][91][92][93][94][95][96][97][98][99][100][101][102] It should be noted that the champion DSC structure involves mesoporous TiO2 sensitized with ADEKA-1/LEG4 dyes, Co III/II couple as redox electrolyte and a graphene nanoplate-based counter-electrode (GNP). This system allowed to obtain a PCE of 14.3%, which remains the highest values reported since 2015.…”
