Abstract

This report covers research published in 2012 that deals mainly with the chemistry of the elements of Group 14. HighlightsThe calendar year 2012 saw many developments in the field of Group 14 chemistry both in established areas, such as low-oxidation state and -coordination number M( 14) complexes, and newer directions, most notably it was a bumper year for graphene chemistry.
