Abstract:Urban forests have a role in climate regulation by managing greenhouse gas emissions. The aim of this study was to assess the potential carbon (C) stock of both above ground biomass (AGB) and below-ground biomass (BGB) in the un-conserved Entoto mount forest and to determine their contribution to mitigating climate change and enhancing ecosystem services.
