Carcass characteristics and organ proportions of broiler chickens fed different plant protein sources in an Acha grain-based diet

Abstract: The stiff competition between man and livestock for maize as energy feedstuff has resulted in the high cost of poultry products. Therefore, a study was conducted to evaluate the effect of feeding acha-based diet varying dietary plant protein to broiler chickens on carcass characteristic and organ proportions.
