Carcinoma of Gastric Remnant: A Neglected Postgastrectomy Syndrome?

Abstract: Of patients with gastric carcinoma, ± 1 % of cases will occur in patients who have undergone a prior gastrectomy for benign peptic ulcer disease. The interval between the original operation and the development of gastric malignancy is at least two decades.
