“…Not infrequently the first sign of a right colon neoplasm will be an accidental discovery of a mass [10] and they do not usually produce obstruction. Complete obstruction may be the first sign of a colonic tumor and acute suppurative appendicitis has been reported due to primitive or metastatic colon cancer that obstructed the basis of the appendix [10,37].
