Abstract:Transplant coronary artery disease (TCAD) is one of the main causes of graft dysfunction and graft loss. Early diagnosis and treatment of cardiac allograft vasculopathy (CAV) can increase graft survival and improve the prognosis for heart transplant recipients. This review presents current data on the problem of CAV, its pathogenesis and the main factors influencing the course of this disease.
