Abstract:Cardiac surgery-associated acute kidney injury (CSA-AKI) is a complication of cardiopulmonary bypass surgery that frequently occurs in children. The increased availability of pediatric cardiac surgery leads to yearly increases in congenital heart disease (CHD) procedures performed worldwide.
