Aim of this study was to compare cardiovascular risk in women with and without inheritable thrombophilia after hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP). Blood pressure, anthropometrics and blood samples were measured 9-13 years after early-onset (<34 weeks) HDP. Amongst the 114 women included, no differences in hypertension (31.1% vs. 33.7%, OR 0.90 95% CI (0.29-2.79)), body mass index > 25 kg/m 2 (43.8% vs. 53.1%, OR 0.69 95% CI (0.24-2.00)) or metabolic syndrome (18.8% vs. 13.3%, OR 1.51 95% CI (0.38-6.02)) were found. These data show similar cardiovascular risk profile in women with and without inheritable thrombophilia.
