Cardiovascular risk profile in patients with myelopathy associated with HTLV-1

Abstract: In this study, the cardiovascular risk profile of patients with HAM/TSP was better than the risk of the control group.

“…TNFα plays a key role in the metabolism of lipid, insulin resistance, endothelial function, and coagulation, and particularly TNFα 1031 allele C was correlated with CVD risk and dyslipidemia [32,33].
