Cargo handling processes during containerized shipments: mathematical modeling, optimality criteria

Abstract: Containerized shipment is the most convenient and cost-saving method for transportation of goods. In this article the processes of containerized cargo handling based on a queuing model is formalized. Different cargo handling models are described, and the process modeling based on local mutual assistance is considered.
