Abstract:Vitellogenin (Vtg) induction in carp (Cyprinus carpio) is a commonly used biomarker for oestrogenic contamination. However, the accurate quantification of Vtg was challenged because the easy degradation of Vtg standard would change the standard curves of the immunoassays.
