Case-by-Case Surveillance for Bacterial Meningitis in Benin: Data Analysis, 2016 to 2018

Abstract: Background: Bacterial meningitis is an inflammation of the meninges caused mainly by three bacterial species Neisseria meningitidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae that are transmitted by nasopharyngeal secretions emitted by carriers.
