Case of Papillary Carcinoma Arising from Thyroglossal Duct Cyst with Regional Lymph Node Metastasis

Abstract: Carcinoma originating from a thyroglossal duct cyst is a rare entity that is often identified on postoperative histopathology after Sistrunk procedure. In this procedure the thyroglossal duct cyst along with the entire tract and some part of hyoid bone are excised to prevent recurrence.
