Case Report: an Uncommon Cause of Non-hemorrhagic Ischemic Stroke Associated with Left Atrial Myxoma

Abstract: Up to 3 out of every 1000 patients may develop an atrial myxoma, the most unusual benign primary heart tumor. The morbidity and death of patients are signi cantly impacted by these malignancies. Myxoma is the least common primary cardiac neoplasm. Between 0.001 0% and 0.3 0% of autopsies reveal heart malignancies.
