Abstract:BackgroundSystemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) can involve any organ system and cause a wide range of manifestations. Noninfectious inflammatory lesions termed aseptic abscesses have been reported in some autoimmune and autoinflammatory conditions but not in childhood-onset SLE.
