Abstract: In human medicine, hemostatic disorders such as thrombocytopenia, hyperfibrinolysis, and disseminated intravascular coagulopathy (DIC) have been associated with many cancers. Acute hemorrhage secondary to hyperfibrinolysis has been predominantly reported with prostatic adenocarcinoma in human patients.
