Abstract:Adult-onset vitelliform macular dystrophy is a bilateral dystrophy characterized by round subretinal yellow macular lesions. The dystrophy manifests between the third and fifth decades of life and has a variable genetic inheritance. A case of adult-onset vitelliform macular dystrophy is presented with the use of electrophysiological testing, fluorescein angiography, fundus autofluorescence and optical coherence tomography.
