Abstract:BACKGROUND: Atrial septal defect represents 10 to 15% of congenital heart disease and is more frequent in women with a 2:1 ratio. Sinus venosus atrial septal defect is usually associated with partial anomalous pulmonary venous drainage from the right superior pulmonary vein to the right atrium directly or indirectly through the superior vena cava.
