“…Esses animais são frequentemente encontrados atropelados, tal fato é facilitado pelo seu grau lento de locomoção, sendo muitas vezes vítimas da alta velocidade dos carros e/ou de estradas sem estruturas de proteção à fauna(OLIVEIRA et al, 2012).
