Abstract:The catalytic decomposition of CH4 to H2 and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) was investigated regarding Pt(1)-Fe(30)/MCM-41 and Fe(30)/MCM-41 using a fixed-bed flow reactor under an atmosphere. X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), transmission electron microscope (TEM), and Raman spectroscopy were used to characterize the behavior of Pt(1)-Fe(30)/MCM-41 and Fe(30)/MCM-41. The hydrogen yield of Pt(1)-Fe(30)/MCM-41 was … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
