Catalytic Oxidative Cracking of Heavy Wax Distillates, Slack Wax, and Polyethylene Wastes to Yield Liquid and Gas Fuels

Abstract: A petroleum waxy distillate, slack waxes, and plastic wastes were charged in an autoclave with 0.6 wt% of hydroquinone as a catalyst. Oxidative cracking process is conducted at 410 • C, in oxygen atmosphere of 0.15 MPa for a time of reaction 30 min.
