Catalytic production of 1,2-propanediol from sucrose over a functionalized Pt/deAl-beta zeolite catalyst

Abstract: A Pt/deAl-beta@Mg(OH)2 alkaline core–shell structured catalytic system was designed for producing 1,2-PDO from sucrose via one-step hydrogenolysis.
