Causes and preventive measures of pressure vessel accidents

Abstract

The article deals with the problems of accidents and fatal injuries in hazardous production plants during the operation of pressure equipment. Extensive static data have been collected on the causes of accidents and occupational injuries in hazardous production facilities using pressure vessels. Emphasis is placed on analyzing the causes of accidents, the categories of victims and the nature of injuries, as well as on preventive measures to avoid accidents and minimize the risk of fatal injuries.
