“…The first preparation of copper(II) perrhenate hydrates from copper(II) carbonate and perrhenic acid was reported in 1931 by Briscoe et al [36]. In this paper synthesis of copper(II) perrhenate using copper-containing aqueous nitrate solutions was described.…”

“…Rhenium in the +7 oxidation state has ability to create many complex compounds, however, in this paper only one ammonium complex, i.e., hexaamminecobalt(III) perrhenate was discussed. Ammonium complex compounds containing metals like: copper(II), cobalt(II), cobalt(III), zinc(II), nickel(II), cadmium(II) and have been already described in the literature [36,37,38,39,40]. The history of these compounds dates back to 1933, when synthesis methods and selected properties were reported by Wilke-Dorfurt and Gunzert [37].…”

“…[Tetraamminecopper(II)] perrhenate was prepared first by Briscoe et al [100] by adding aq. concentrated ammonium hydroxide or gaseous ammonia to a concentrated hot copper(II) perrhenate solution until the formed precipitate was completely re-dissolved, and then the deep blue crystals were crystallized out after cooling the solution [100]. The copper(II) perrhenate prepared in situ from CuCO 3 and HReO 4 was mixed directly with concentrated ammonia [81].…”

“…There are not many publications concerning nickel(II) perrhenate; though the first one dates back to the 1930s [ 11 ]. Over the years, only a few articles describing its production, physicochemical properties, and applications have been published [ 12 , 13 , 14 , 15 ].…”
