Abstract:The process of synthesis of cadmium-zinc sulfide (CdxZn1-xS) and cadmium-mercury selenide (CdxHg1-xSe) thin films solid solutions by a chemical bath deposition method with using complexing agents of tri-sodium citrate and sodium thiosulfate, respectively, has been investigated. The phase composition, transmittion spectra, optical band gaps and surface morphology of CdxZn1-xS and CdxHg1-xSe films were studied.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
