Cefazolin high-inoculum effect in methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus from South American hospitals

Abstract: Objectives: Clinical failures with cefazolin have been described in high-inoculum infections caused by methicillinsusceptible Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) producing type A b-lactamase.
