Cell reorientation on a cyclically strained substrate

Abstract: Cyclic strain avoidance, the phenomenon of cell and cytoskeleton alignment perpendicular to the direction of cyclic strain of the underlying two-dimensional substrate, is an important characteristic of the adherent cell organization.
