“…This lesion develops most commonly in association with the molar or premolar tooth roots, with the affected tooth/teeth retaining pulp vitality (Souza et al, 2013). Although extremely difficult to distinguish from osteoblastoma and focal sclerosing osteomyelitis radiographically and histologically (Pogrel et al, 2005), cementoblastoma is distinctive in that it connects directly to the tooth root surface, often with the loss of root contour due to fusion with the tumor (Sankari and Ramakrisnan, 2011;Souza et al, 2013).
