Centering Spirituality in the Academy

Abstract: In this article, the author’s foremost objective is to render the answer to the following question: How would centering spirituality transform our ways of teaching and learning? The author explores the terrain of the answer to this question by discussing some of his personal reflections and experiences as a teacher and a student of the academy, especially in the context of how spirituality can inform teaching about equity and social justice issues.
