Central nervous system and skull malformations associated with Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus in a calf

Abstract

Summary:In this study, cranial anomalies, hydranencephaly and cerebellar hypoplasia were reported macroscopically, microscopically and immunohistochemically in a calf. A relationship between Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus infection and malformations associated with central nervous system lesions were demonstrated.
