Abstract:Cercospora beticola Sacc. is the most destructive foliar pathogen of sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L.) in many beet growing regions of the world. This paper summarizes the most important knowledge about the prevention of fungal infections, as well as the mechanisms of sugar beet resistance to infection.
