Abstract:Cerebellar ataxia implies changes in motor coordination and balance. An etiological study is difficult given the countless differential diagnoses. Autoimmune causes, namely due to anti-GAD antibodies, represent only around 2% of progressive cerebellar ataxia in adults [1].
