Abstract:Compensatory changes in brain connectivity keep motor symptoms mild in prodromal Parkinson’s disease. Studying compensation in patients is hampered by the steady progression of the disease and a lack of individual baseline controls. Furthermore, combining fMRI with walking is intricate.
