Abstract:AimTo investigate the effects of caffeine loading/maintenance administration on near‐infrared spectroscopy cerebral, kidney and splanchnic patterns in preterm infants.MethodsWe conducted a multicentre case–control prospective study in 40 preterm infants (gestational age 29 ± 2 weeks) where each case acted as its own control.
