Abstract: BackgroundCerebral venous thrombosis, a rare stroke, is characterized by neurological dysfunction caused by bleeding and/or infarction resulting from venous sinus thrombosis, the so‐called venous stroke. Current guidelines recommend anticoagulants as first‐line therapy in the treatment of venous stroke.
