Indonesia has many cultures. These cultures are studied by foreign learners. Indonesian cultures lead them to conduct business there. Unfortunately, most of them find difficulties in learning Indonesian language because there is less learning material about culture which talks about business communication. Therefore, it is important to investigate responses of foreign language teachers on materials needed.This study implemented qualitative method that involved 10 BIPA teachers. Data was obtained using a questionnaire. Content analysis was conducted to analyze data. It was the stages of reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusion or verification.It concluded that BIPA teachers needed teaching materials related to cultures for business communication including work culture in Indonesia, application letters and business reports, Indonesian trading strategies, exercises to practice, and materials that were accessible on smartphones.

The relevance of the study lies in the fact that, in the information society, people are beginning to forget their roots, traditions, values and cultural origins, which have been formed throughout the history of the country's formation. Restoration of the lost through the study of folklore (tales, fairy tales, epics, proverbs, sayings, etc.) can revitalise the historical and cultural legacies of the past and advance global comprehension. In this regard, this article is aimed at defining the basic principles and approaches to teaching the language of Kazakh legends and other folklore works. The leading methods for studying this problem are the methods of analysis, classification, deduction, synthesis, generalization and comparison of results, which will help to study the issue of the linguistic, cultural and cognitive impact of the learning process of the language of Kazakh legends. Folklore genre studies’ features are outlined, and their salient features are emphasised; conducted a thorough literature analysis and elucidated the fundamental ideas of teaching legends; strategies, tactics, and ways to improve students’ reading comprehension in the context of teaching folklore were found.

Kahuripan Airlangga Sidoarjo culture is still a piece that has yet to be integrated into a series of valuable works that the public can enjoy. This research aims to explore the Kahuripan Airlangga Sidoarjo culture through literacy to gain more information about the history of Kahuripan Airlangga. The method used was a qualitative case study by conducting observations and interviews with the Sidoarjo Arts Council (Dekesda) to explore the Kahuripan Airlangga culture. The results showed that cultural activists who observed cultural sites, such as the Kamalagyan Inscription, found a series of royal stories in Sidoarjo. In terms of activities, a Wayang Silat Jawosogo show is taken from the story of Tambak Kalisogo village. The participation of all parties is still needed to trace the cultural literacy of Kahuripan Airlangga Sidoarjo. It is expected that the complete data will become a historical document describing the glory of the Kahuripan Airlangga so that the younger generation can understand the cultural history of the nation, as well as appreciate the local wisdom of Sidoarjo.
