Abstract: BackgroundFindings from randomized trials (RCTs) on cervical pessary treatment to prevent spontaneous preterm birth are inconsistent.ObjectivesOur hypothesis suggests that adhering to the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and following the instructions for use are essential prerequisites for successful therapy.
